Black Friday Eternal

You are a lone security guard tasked with protecting your store on Black Friday!

Stop shoplifters by zapping them before they leave, but don't zap innocent people.

Watch carefully - some people are there to honestly buy stuff, others will try to hide items in the corners. Some will just make a run for it.

Play at least to wave 5, the first few waves are practice.

This is a submission for the GMTK Jam 2020, theme Out Of Control, because Black Friday shoppers are completely out of control!.

Made by just me (spacemeat) in about one day. Please excuse my programmer art!

CONTROLS:

This is made with PICO 8, which uses UP, DOWN, LEFT, RIGHT, O, and X buttons. By default, they are mapped on keyboard like:

UP -> Up arrow, DOWN -> Down arrow, LEFT -> Left arrow, RIGHT -> Right arrow, O -> Z, X -> X

On controller they are mapped like:

UP, DOWN, LEFT, RIGHT -> dpad or left analog, O -> A, X -> B
